1) download the joomla

2) Extract that file and copy the joomla folder to your web root.
3) Create a new database , database user and password
4) Open your favorite browser type http://localhost/joomla
it redirects to installation wizard, enter all the details in wizard.
5) after installation delete the install directory from your web root.
you can access your site using http://localhost/joomla/
